Summer sausage Melt
Here is a great recipe for a summer sandwich, which is is almost like a pizza. I used a crusty roll fresh from the baker, but any bread would work, I shall leave that up to you.
The ingredients are as such:
Mustard, to your liking, the hotter the better for me and I prefer English.
Sausage, pre-cooked and cut in half.
Brie, small wedges.
Proscuitto layered over the brie
Gherkin, sliced
Tomato, sliced
Cheddar Cheese
Place all of this together on a slice of bread or half a roll and then melt under a grill; as with all Deli-mental recipes, the ingredients are placed in the order listed. Then either eat as an open sandwich and make two, or place the other side of bread or roll, probably better heated under the grill with the melt, over the top and take an enormous bite.
Yum.
Let it fall out and be prepared for plenty of mess. Best to top this off with a beer, I would recommend a sweet one like Brewdog Punk IPA or a Pistonhead.
