The Sandwich of Peanut and Ham

First of all, let me explain, this sandwich came about from a conversation I had with someone while working on a tv show many years ago; it has been derived from boredom, so should be treated thus.

Each layer compliments the other and it is because of this that the combo works. I would not be stupid enough to put gherkins on top of marmalade, that would be...interesting.

The ingredients in the order of spreading:

Crunchy Peanut Butter
Mature cheese, thinly sliced
Marmalade, either bitty or not! (you could use jam, oranges are not the only fruit!)
Ham, honey-roasted, cheap and nasty, freshly cut, whatever
gherkins, sliced
mayonnaise, normal, though silly flavoured ones might work. May overpower everything though.

Put all that between two slices of bread and enjoy the burst of flavour that spins around your mouth. Preferably with a cool glass of white wine and a small pot of olives.
